Welcome! The People’s Music School is the only tuition-free community music school of its kind in the United States.  Founded in 1976 by Dr. Rita Simo, the School was set up to offer private music instruction to anyone, regardless of their financial resources.  Today, the School offers instruction in many different instruments to hundreds of students each year and dozens of concerts to the community.
