PAUSE Outreach Program

The PAUSE Initiative (Positive Action Using Self Expression) was created in 2008 by Dan "Pause" Kushnir, chairman of the board for the George S. May Foundation for the Arts, with the founding principle that every child’s life has equal worth.

Because the founding principle of PAUSE lies so closely to that of The People's Music School, we have initiated the PAUSE Outreach Program to promote and support youth development and positive expression, inspired through music and arts education and to counteract budget cuts in inner-city schools that often prevent this.
