DESCRIPTION:We are excited to be performing as part of Chicago’s 2026 Blues Fest! We’ll be performing at Wrigley Square from 3-3:45pm as part of the Next Generation of Blues lineup. Stop by to hear some of our advanced music students perform beloved blues and jazz pieces! \nThe nation’s largest free blues fest returns this year with a citywide lineup honoring Chicago’s blues legacy\, while highlighting established musicians and the next generation of blues performers. The festival begins Thursday\, June 4\, at Ramova Theatre in Bridgeport with an opening night program\, followed by three days of performances June 5–7 at Millennium Park. All performances in Millennium Park are free and open to the public. \nEntrance Map \nWe are excited to be performing as part of the Next Generation of Blues lineup\, featuring young musicians from Walter H. Dyett High School for the Arts\, Chicago West Community Music Center\, Curie Metro High School\, Kenwood Academy High School\, Meaza Joy\, and VanderCook College of Music. \nThe People’s Music School\, a 501(c) (3)\, is Chicago’s oldest and largest 100% tuition-free music school. Enjoy an afternoon of food\, drinks\, live music\, games\, and fun – all supporting high-quality\, tuition-free music education at The People’s Music School. \nYour $50 ticket gets you access to the event\, plus 2 drinks and a buffet. Also available for purchase are tickets to enter a prize drawing and get a chance to win some amazing prizes!  \nThe People’s Music School is Chicago’s largest and oldest completely tuition-free music school\, providing intensive after-school music instruction to over 800 K–12 students in historically underserved communities. We believe in the transformative power of music to uplift youth\, families\, and entire communities. \nThe Associate Board\, a group of young professionals who support our mission through advocacy\, volunteering\, and fundraising\, is hosting its annual signature event on July 11 from 3:30-6:30pm at Movement on Montrose. Guests will enjoy food\, drinks\, live music\, games\, and prize drawings—all in support of tuition-free music education for low-income students across Chicago.
