con <strong>M\u00daSICA GENERAL<\/strong>, a program that teaches the foundations of music designed for elementary students in first grae.\u00a0<\/p><p>Nuestro curr\u00edculo acumulativo de M\u00fasica General est\u00e1 dividido en tres niveles, cada uno de los cuales se basa en <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">los elementos de teor\u00eda, interpretaci\u00f3n individual, interpretaci\u00f3n en conjunto, improvisaci\u00f3n y composici\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p>Los estudiantes demuestran sus aprendizajes y conocimientos a trav\u00e9s de la voz, <span style=\"font-weight: We envision a society where all children have access to the unique social, emotional, and intellectual benefits achieved through musical excellence.<\/p><p>We believe music is transformative and empowers the lives of youth, families and communities.<\/p><p><br \/>Dr. Rita Sim\u00f3, a Juilliard-trained classical pianist, was inspired by the free music education she received as a child in the Dominican Republic. Her dream became a reality in 1976, when she opened the doors of The People\u2019s Music School in a vacant storefront in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago.<\/p><p><br \/>Today, TPMS has expanded to
