\"YouthFrom\u00a0Carolyn Sybesma, Program Director of The People’s Music School: our Youth Orchestras \u2013 Albany Park<\/a> fall semester is in full swing! Our students began rehearsals on September 22 and from day one started tackling Mozart, Copland, Haydn, and much more. Our program is stronger than ever this year \u2013 nearly every student has continued with the orchestra from last year, including over 20 high school students who travel from their schools across Chicago. I am also very excited to report that the program is growing! We enrolled 12 new students into the REACH Orchestra this fall, and starting in January, we will enroll 30 students into our new Beginner’s Orchestra.<\/p>\n

As we begin a new school year, I am eager to see more young lives transformed through music and to watch our students achieve excellence in all areas of their lives. Thank you to the parents, families, and friends of our program for all you do to help us accomplish this goal!<\/p>\n

De Carolyn Sybesma, Program Director of The People’s Music School: \u00a1Nuestro semestre de oto\u00f1o de Orquestas Juvenil \u2013 Albany Park est\u00e1 en plena marcha! Nuestros estudiantes comenzaron los ensayos el 22 de septiembre y desde el primer d\u00eda iniciaron con Mozart, Copland, Haydn, y mucho m\u00e1s. Nuestro programa est\u00e1 m\u00e1s fuerte que nunca este a\u00f1o \u2013 casi cada estudiante del a\u00f1o pasado ha continuado con el programa, incluyendo m\u00e1s de 20 estudiantes de escuelas secundarias, ellos vienen desde sus escuelas por todo Chicago. \u00a1Tambi\u00e9n estoy muy emocionada de declarar que el programa est\u00e1 creciendo! Inscribimos 12 nuevos estudiantes en la Orquesta REACH este oto\u00f1o, y comenzando en enero, inscribiremos 30 estudiantes en nuestra Orquesta Principiante.<\/p>\n
