Our students in the honors SLAM program<\/a> had the unique opportunity to work with the acclaimed Formosa Quartet<\/strong><\/a>, in collaboration with Guarneri Hall<\/a> and the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center<\/a>,\u00a0as part of the American Mirror Project<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>

Students spoke with the quartet via Zoom, answering questions posed by the American Mirror Project that reflect on the history, identity, and meaning of “America.\u201d<\/p>

Centered around dynamic musical performances with the potential for cross-disciplinary collaboration, The American Mirror Project seeks to showcase diverse points of view and investigate complex socio-cultural issues in a thought-provoking exploration of American music.<\/p>
