No registration is required to attend this open house. You can simply walk in the day of the open house.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">The People\u2019s Music School offers <\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">high quality, after-school tuition-free music education<\/span><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\"> to school aged children in Chicago who would otherwise would face financial barriers to access. Based on a student\u2019s age, we offer classes in general music, instrumental studies, music theory, and a variety of ensembles. The People\u2019s Music School calendar runs from September to June.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Students enrolled in our program will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Attend after school classes 2 days a week for up to 4 hours.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Participate in performances throughout the school year<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Take part in engaging masterclasses with guest artists<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"a_GcMg font-feature-liga-off font-feature-clig-off font-feature-calt-off text-decoration-none text-strikethrough-none\">Gain skills through participating in our intensive music program that will benefit them throughout their life<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Zoom link: https:\/\/us06web.zoom.us\/j\/83852009240 Attending an open house is REQUIRED in order to enroll your child in The People&#8217;s Music School for the 2026-27 school year.
