Our students in the honors SLAM program had the unique opportunity to work with the acclaimed Formosa Quartet, in collaboration with Guarneri Hall and the Segundo Ruiz Belvis Cultural Center, as part of the American Mirror Project.
Students spoke with the quartet via Zoom, answering questions posed by the American Mirror Project that reflect on the history, identity, and meaning of “America.”
Centered around dynamic musical performances with the potential for cross-disciplinary collaboration, The American Mirror Project seeks to showcase diverse points of view and investigate complex socio-cultural issues in a thought-provoking exploration of American music.
