This year, we are proud to honor Third Coast Percussion, whose extraordinary artistry, innovation, and commitment to music education have resonated throughout The People’s Music School for more than a decade. Through hands-on learning experiences, creative collaborations, and inspiring performances with our students and faculty, the GRAMMY® Award-winning percussion quartet has expanded what’s possible for our students. Their generosity and artistic curiosity have encouraged students to think more creatively, and approach music with imagination and confidence. The influence of those experiences extends well beyond their time in the music classroom, continuing to shape our students as musicians and lifelong learners.
