Ballet Folklorico de Chicago invites you to Folklórico en el Parque, a free summer series celebrating Mexican culture through dance. Enjoy live folklórico performances and join them in learning the traditional Jarabe Tapatío in a fun, welcoming environment for all ages. No experience needed! 

Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration: "Discovering our Roots"

Tierra Colombiana hosts this event featuring community organizations, food, vendors, entertainment, art, workshops, crafts, and much more. They will be joined by Arpa Cafe Llanera Music Colombia & Venezuela, Mariachi A Flor de Piel, Viva Panama, Mexican Ballet BYNC, Rico Nosuave, DJ Chad Melendez, & Juan Pablo Prieto as the MC & Host in addition to Folkloric dance performances by Tierra Colombiana.

Chicago Latino Dance Festival at Logan Center

The Chicago Latino Dance Festival, now in its fourth edition, is one of the first festivals in the country dedicated to celebrating and uplifting Latino dance. Produced by the International Latino Cultural Center of Chicago (ILCC), an organization dedicated to uplifting Latino voices through the arts, the festival honors the vast diaspora of nations that make up “Latino” culture — including Spain, Portugal, and other countries where Spanish and Hispanic traditions have endured, as well as Brazil, an essential part of the Latino experience.

Fiesta Mexicana Family Concert

Sones de México Ensemble presents “Fiesta Mexicana,” an interactive concert for kids and their parents, in six special free concerts for the Chicago Park District’s Night Out in the Parks series. Based on their Parents’ Choice Award-winning album of the same name, the program includes songs, storytelling, and interactive games that are delivered in English and Spanish. The performance will be preceded by a mask-making workshop at 6 PM.
