November brought us lots to be thankful for: our amazing students, families, faculty, board members, supporters, and community members. We are so excited to announce two incredible new additions to The People’s Music School community this month!

Tom Bracy brings 30+ years of music education and non-profit leadership to students, faculty and staff. A percussionist and dabbler on the trombone, Tom’s motto is “it’s all about the kids” and we couldn’t agree more. Read about how Tom’s sharing his valuable skills with the TPMS community here.
Tyronne Stoudemire is helping to boost awareness about TPMS across Chicago, with special focus to connecting students on the South Side with opportunities to join our Gary Comer Youth Center partnership or learn more about enrolling in our Uptown Academy. He has performed with the Chicago Sinfonietta and helped found a youth orchestra program in Woodlawn – and that’s just the surface of his extensive involvement in the arts and in community building in Chicago.
